Key responsibilities:

 

·   Supervise fueling activities for all line haul vehicles across designated hubs/routes.
·   Monitor and maintain optimal fuel inventory levels at fueling points or through vendor coordination.
·   Track daily fuel consumption and ensure accurate logging against vehicle mileage and route usage.
·   Verify fuel receipts, reconcile fuel transactions, and report any variances or irregularities.
·   Coordinate with drivers and dispatch to schedule fueling in line with trip planning and route schedules.
·   Ensure all fueling operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
·   Conduct random checks on vehicles and drivers to detect fuel misuse or pilferage.
·   Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on fuel consumption, efficiency, and cost trends.
·   Work closely with procurement and finance for vendor billing and reconciliation.
·   Maintain the fueling area and ensure proper functioning of dispensers, meters, and other related equipment.
·   Support fleet maintenance team in identifying vehicles with abnormal fuel consumption.
